Our 2 Air conditioned bedroom apartment on the third floor can comfortably accommodate upto 4 guests. It comprises of a living room, a dinning area with a dinning table and 4 chairs, 2 large balconies, a well equipped kitchen and washrooms with a wash basin and mirror, an European commode, shower/tub with lots of hot and cold water. It is located in a serene and beautiful coastal village of Goa. With close proximity to spectacular beaches and renowned restaurants, the closest beach being Arossim beach that is a 10 to 15 minutes walking distance away from our place. There is also a bird watching point just round the corner from our place. The International Airport, the Bus and train stations are also in close proximity. This apartment with all its modern furnishings and equipment's is an ideal place to stay and spend a truly memorable holiday in Goa. Additional features such as Site seeing tours, visits to Museums, Temples and Churches(UNESCO World Heritage Site) Spice plantations, Farm trips, Private boat trips such as Sunrise/Sunset, Dolphin viewing, Crocodile sighting, Sports fishing etc can be discussed and finalised with the host at an extra price. Summary: Great stay , the owner Marvon and wife Maggie were superb, very friendly and most accommodating always ready to help and made my stay easy giving out information and picked me from airport which helped a lot. The apartment was clean well furnished with Television iron ironing board and washing machine and a lovely caretaker called Babli who would clean as often as you asked and help you if needed. Both the owner and caretaker always observed your privacy. The flat is on the third floor so need to be able to climb stairs. Outside the flat is a bus stop going to Margoa hourly and returning same. The beach in Arossim is a beautiful long sandy beach, on it only one beach shack, the sea is easy to get in and out of but the walk is about 20 minutes, part of this walk is on a main road without pathway,difficult if walking with children.Good food at shack and very friendly staff, others using beach mainly from hotel up road but really friendly place to go, everyone talks to you, bonus when alone. Further along southwards there are other beaches that are busier, but a taxi ride away. The flat is on the main road and one needs transport to go out of an evening to eat as there are no restaurants in walking distance, taxi required. Overall my experience was truly enjoyable I would say the only down side was the bed was really hard and I needed to buy a topper to be comfortable, the kitchen if you wanted to cook had only the basics. As a single person I felt safe and would stay again, I like peace and quiet, but not suitable for those who can not manage stairs, walk 20 minutes to beach or do not want to pay taxi fares every evening to go out to eat. Linen provided but washed by guest. My transaction with Marvon went without any problems, totally professional, making contact previous to arrival which always reassures you when booking and travelling abroad. In summary I loved my stay.
