Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property is clean and tidy and the home owner was super responsive and helpful. One of its significant advantages is how kid friendly it is, the living room has a large collection of toys and Japanese kids books which our kids absolutely loved and were invaluable in our ability to get some rest during our stay

Negative: The location of the property has its benefits and drawbacks, on the positive side it is only a few minutes walk from a train station and bus stop that can take you to Arashiama (5-10 min) and Kyoto station (30 min). A key drawback for us was the proximity to the train line which despite being exciting for the kids (train spotting from the living room!) was also a bit noisy at times
