Summary: Stayed for 13 days in 2 villas B1 and C12 over Xmas and New year. Villas clearly have been unused over covid and upon arriving it became clear that the basic amenities didn't work and required updating . When trying to wash up , an untapped pipe near to the ceiling poured water onto my head. Plumber had to be called to switch it off. Washing machine refuse to start when needed and required a repair, freezer then stopped working followed by fridge breaking the next day leading to loss of food that we had purchased. Fridge was then repaired . AC in villa B1 main bedroom constantly stuck at 34 degrees. AC in 2nd room in Villa B1 worked inconsistently and kept tripping the electricity so husband had to sleep in living room. Husband had an mini electric shock whilst in shower when switching on hot tap which we think was due to electrics for geyser. We didn't switch geyser on again. Water outage twice at villa C12 , 2nd time lasting >12 hours. My brother with 3 kids under the age of 6 had no access to running water for this time.
Cleaner/housekeeper kept reprimanding us for minor things- small children returning from beach having sandy shoes- etc and she seemed generally exasperated at the the situation saying the problems identified were not her issue.
It was a real shame as the villas have the potential to be lovely, local beach is fabulous and the pool is great. We did feedback to the owner and an apology was offered. No comment from owner when informed husband had mini electric shock when in shower. We paid a significant amount of money for these two villas which lacked basic amenities. and at times felt unsafe .

Summary: We have just returned from a 2 week break at this villa. The villa was an ideal base and had everything you needed for your stay.. Archie was great and there to help and offer advice on trips etc... Amelia kept the villa nice and clean and was lovely. The complex felt very safe. There are a few English people that have homes there and they were very welcoming and helpful, especially Ian.
A big thanks again to Archie for all of your help from all of us, Tracy, Chris, Mandy & Dale

Summary: The 3 bedroom 3 bathroom villa was well equipped. We had lovely rear views on the balcony and watched many sunrises.
The variety of birds, dragonfly and bats was wonderful.
The walk to the beach takes only 5 minutes. Great beach huts aplenty. Supermarket only a few minutes up the road who will do their best to fulfil all your requests.
Fab local restaurants. We didn't have a single bad meal in Goa.
We travelled north and south of the island with our friendly and informative Driver, arranged through our villa host.
We will see you next year!

Summary: We had a lovely stay, could not fault our accommodation. We had great service from our regular driver and fabulous food wherever we ate locally.
Varca is suitably quiet but located centrally so any trip north or south in Goa is not too far away.
We thoroughly recommend Tarika villas as a well equipped base , close to the beach.
We will be back!

Summary: We have been returning to Varca Beach and this rental complex for over five years because it offers exactly what we need. As Expats living in Delhi, we travel to Goa for peace and quiet, and the relaxing knowledge that we are in a safe and and family friendly environment. As we sat outside the three bedroom villa we rented this time, we could hear the waves. We spent several lazy afternoons outside in the shade reading and enjoying the outdoor set-up. And although we usually are on the beach for sunset, the one evening I opted to stay home, I enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the master bedroom. The villa is just a short walk to the beach and has good A/Cs, is clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook, while admittedly I don't travel to Goa to do that.

Summary: We were a group of four women and we were all really impressed by villa. It was as described, very clean and well equipped. It was kept clean for us and clean linen supplied with lovely thick towels, so unlike the threadbare ones you are sometimes given. It had outside seating and there was someone maintaining the grounds whilst we were there. The pool that serves the complex was clean and pleasant to use. Everyone on the complex was friendly and helpful. The owner was located on the site which was really useful he provided excellent customer service sorting out taxi's for us and recommending places to eat, and activities whilst not being tpp obtrusive.
I would recommend this property and would happily return there in the future
