Summary: We stayed two nights at the Grand View Resort. The in-room mizuburo and onsen bath were a treat,.and definitely the best thing about the room! The bed was sufficiently firm, and very large. Pillows are on the softer side. Water pressure in the shower room was good. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious. We recommend the Taiwanese style breakfast over the western style one. They're both great, but that Taiwanese breakfast was just a little more special. We had one dinner at their Chinese restaurant, and it was excellent as well. Staff were always helpful and very courteous without being overbearing. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. The only downside to the place is that its location is far into the mountainside, and not walkable during summer.
