Summary: We have stayed in the old town of Puerto del Carmen several times and are aware of the hills, however there are a lot of steps, without handrails, to the apartment, so not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This did put us off leaving the apartment very often. The view, however, is amazing once up there. Sea, mountain, pool and town views. The wifi is also very good in the apartment.When we arrived, there were plenty of towels and the apartment was clean. However, the bottom tray in the door of the fridge was missing. Also, the electricity tripped a few times, possibly because we had several things plugged in at the same time, cooker, kettle, tv, fan. fridge etc. Although I would assume that this shouldn't have been a problem. For future reference the fuse box is behind the picture next to the front door.The bathroom could do with a small bin and some hooks on the wall. It could also do with something to put soap, shampoo etc on within the shower cubicle, as there is nowhere to put anything. The shower also overflowed a couple of times, as the water didn't go down the drain very well and there is no door to enclose the cubicle.Despite the above niggles, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
