Summary: We stayed here for just one night, and it was a lovely experience. The location is perfect — only a short, easy walk from Kawaguchiko Station. Check-in was smooth and simple, and the host was very thoughtful. There are also many cultural touches and experiences you can enjoy inside the house, which made the stay feel special. The only minor downside is that since the room has tatami flooring, it can feel a bit humid, and there’s a faint damp smell when you first enter from outside. Overall, it’s a wonderful guesthouse with a lot of character — I’d definitely recommend it!
