Positive: The host was very nice and met us upon arrival. He went around the house with us and invited us to his live music bar that was a short walk away! There’s a lot of space in the house, and we got good food recommendations upon asking. The host provided us with a pamphlet full of things to do and see in Kanazawa, as well. There’s a bus stop nearby that allowed us to reach every spot we wanted to visit.

Negative: The house is a bit far from the train station but it is walkable. The house wasn’t the cleanest (dusty shelves, bugs on the shower ceiling, sink parts scattered) but it wasn’t terribly dirty either.

Summary: Spacious house with nice hosts, with a fun nighttime event at their bar.
