Positive: The Ryokan's location was a wonderful escape from the busy city. We loved the authentic feel of both the exterior and interior. Our room was cosy and felt like home. We especially appreciated the convenient access to the onsen. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Negative: Being away from the busy city meant there were fewer restaurants within walking distance. There is also no elevator, so carrying large or heavy luggage up and down the stairs may be a challenge for guests staying on the upper floors.
