Summary: You shouldn’t think of this place as a typical hotel. Although it’s listed as a four-star property, it falls short of what you’d normally expect. The main issues are that the reception operates only from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., so you can’t get help outside those hours; housekeeping only empties the trash once every four days with no floor or bathroom cleaning at all(so we had to clean the room ourselves) and IDs weren’t checked at check-in, meaning anyone can enter the building freely, which raises security concerns. On the positive side, the building is new, everything is clean, and the balcony offers a partial ocean view.
