Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It was an interesting experience to stay in a traditional grass roof house. I was happy to have that experience.

Negative: I did not realize that the house was actually inside of the tourist village, and that I would have to purchase a ticket to the tourist attraction to be able to get inside the accommodation. Also, the woman at the ticket booth could not help me find the accommodation and I did not have a map. A map would have been so helpful. I arrived at dinner time (having not had a meal since 10am and having run out of water) but no one offered me anything to eat or drink, not even water, and since I was already inside the tourist village I decided not to go out again. I left at 7:30 am the next morning before anyone else was even out of their room. I don't think this place is very foreigner friendly. The host did not even try to talk to me (not even with Google Translate).

Summary: Quaint and interesting but if you do not speak Korean, beware.
