Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Modern facility. Very close to the train station. Kei, the man who greeted me, was very nice, and speaks excellent English. He also explained the history of the shrine to me. This is a great affordable option near Kochi, and it is easy to take the train in.

Negative: Find out if you need to provide your own food if you don't have a car. The restaurant was closed when I was there, so I had dinner and breakfast on my own (I always carry emergency food for situations like this). There is a produce store, but no convenience store.

Summary: Modern and comfortable.
