Summary: The Mondrian is a nice hotel. Especially if you are looking for a party vibe. It sits on a beautiful bay and the pool is small but nice. It was difficult to find a lounger by the pool (lots of people ‘saving them with a towel pre breakfast’ and then you should be happy to listen to some pretty serious DJ vibes (all day). The quality of food is good- but the staff’s attention to detail could be a wee bit better. Lots of back and forth and confusion with orders at the pool. Room was stylish. We booked an ocean view jr suite and it was a decent size. But the balcony was solid and so the view was lacking and largely blocked by foliage to the left of the balcony that obscured the view of the bay- and therefore the sunrise- which is amazing if you get down to the beach for a swim as we did. So higher floors probably a better option. You can catch the ferry to Ibiza town from right outside the hotel which was great. And taxis were plentiful. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance and Shanti- did the best cocktails we had on the island… highly recommend. In summary- cool vibe, in a beautiful bay.
