Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Good hotel, newly opened and clean. Breakfast and dinner were superb with lot of choices (sashimi, ikura, tempura, etc.) Sine it is newly opened, hotel rate is value for money. The souvenior and sake selling at lobby prices are reasonable.

Negative: Need uphill walk from Echigo-yuzawa station (harder with luggages). No futon bed turn down service but not an issue.
