Summary: First visit to Guangzhou, so Haijun Hotel was a perfect location for the novice tourist. Beijing Pedestrian St just a short walk as well as a nightly front seat view of the Pearl River cruisers. Modest hotel, slighly older, but staff were efficient, friendly and eager to please. Shower water pressure was excellent. All communication challenges were easily solved with handy translator apps. Breakfast buffet was generous, although a little heavy on the fried oils side. Would easily stay here again. Far from a luxury hotel, the hotel has a dated feel, yet homely and comfortable at the same time.
