Positive: We had a fabulous 10D9N stay (5-14th November 2025) with Ariguesthouse in Myeongdong! The hosts were wonderful and accommodating, constantly checking in with us on how we were doing and whether everything was fine. Indeed, it truly felt like home away from home! It was such a warm and lovely environment to stay in – rather personal and family-like in many ways. We were served with humble and yet delicious bread for breakfast daily. Snacks, cut fruits, and even homemade pancakes were served during our stay! What a pleasant surprise to say the least. The memories of our stay here were amazing and heartfelt. We were looked after very well, thanks to Joo and Khim, who were so friendly and helpful, always serving with a big smile. The size of the room could be small to some people, but it was clean, cozy and the floor was heated just fine. The layout and such as posted in Booking.com were as they were. So do manage your expectations accordingly. For a couple or 2 pax, I will recommend a triple room. Ari House is less than 5mins walk from Exit 1 of Myeongdong station (take the lift here if you have luggage with you). The environment here is quiet and should you wish to visit Myeongdong night market or do some shopping, they are just a street crossing away. Definitely an excellent location to be in! Thank you, Ari House, for a wonderful stay. Your personal touch had made our trip to South Korea both fun and memorable. We look forward to staying with you at the next opportunity.

Negative: The stairs. Then again, it was a good change and there is a handrail by the side. Thus, it was manageable. Just take it as a warm up to those stairs at the subway! LOL... So take your time and stay safe.
