Summary: The biggest problem was lack of wi-fi in the rooms, and even the lobby wi-fi was not great. The place was overall very clean and with good amount of (natural and artificial) light, and the furniture was good, too. But there were no essentials provided (you have to buy soap, shampoo, napkins. &c). Even though the narrow streets look kind of sketchy and off-putting (the occasional dog faeces don’t help), we didn’t feel exactly unsafe because there were so many tourists out at almost all hours of the night. The so-called “supermarkets” in the neighbourhood are all mini-marts so you can’t easily find many products. The staff aren’t fluent English speakers.
